Friends, finally the happy news. When P Vasu was contacted and told about the stories speculating in media about the release date, he laughed a while and rubbished all the rumours.
He confirmed the release date would be Aug 1 and ads will appear on coming Sunday in leading newspapers. The director opined that the movie has shaped out well and Superstar is very much happy and confident about the success of the movie.

Meanwhile sources say that Shankar has finished scouting locations for the song sequence of Superstar and Aishwarya Rai which he will be shooting first. (Earlier it was a photo-session to try out wigs).
