Big Music, the audio rights holder of Kuselan is promoting the album in innovative ways as said earlier.
A lookalike of Rajini, arranged by the Big Music walked into Landmark in Citi Centre amidst much excitement.
The lookalike named Rajini Mani from Pollachi is a labourer who also works as side artiste in Tamil films. As an ardent Rajinifan from childhood, his act of imitating Rajini has given this opportunity to him.
Even at that lunch hours, the look alike was able to generate somewhat frenzy in the book shop. Kuselan special cake was cut and distributed to the visitors. Kids who were at that time, shook hands with him and shared pieces of cake as if they were with Rajini.
A group of press persons were there at that time to cover the event. While I was entering NJ Ramya was interacting with him.
The artiste during the event exhibited various gimmicks of Superstar and performed a few mannerisms of style mannan. Anyhow he couldn’t pull it out perfectly. (A Rajini style can be done right only by Rajini. Isn’t it?)
Anyway the sole purpose of the event was attained as many cassettes and CDs were sold that time.
