Last evening a close friend of mine called me and told that Kuselan will be an August release and he has solid evidence for that. I was puzzled and surprised. After some build-up and testing my patience he said that he came to Abirami Mega Mall to watch a movie and in the theatre he saw Coming soon posters and banners of Kuselan in the theatre and its compound. And in the posters they have mentioned as ‘August release.’ I requested no…no….compelled him to shoot those photos from his mobile and then mail me them so as I could show you all. He said surely he would and as promised he sent me those pictures which you are seeing here.
He suggested me to come over there and shoot them for our blog as the banner is a very lengthy one and looking nice. I will be going there tomorrow (Sunday) and I will present you the actual shots and picture.

A clarification regarding the release date
Kavithalaya or P Vasu never announced official release date. So, there’s no question of postponement.
Even at the Kuselan press meet, P Vasu told that the movie will be released probably by July end. “We are planning to release the film by July end. If delayed it will be pushed further one week.” He added that exact release date will be announced later. But media they themselves decided that if July end, then it would be only 25 as it falls on Friday and wrote that July 25 is the release date.
Even during the second press meet held at Shanthi theatre last week, Vasu said that he will announce the release date officially by July 10.
Media they themselves have been speculating various release dates. So no question of postponement or changing the release date.

But by going by these banner images, we could understand that Kuselan is an August release. I think August 1st Friday will be the D day.

K Balachander has said in Thanthi today that Kuselan will be released by August 1 Friday. While speaking at a Producers' council meeting in Chennai, he has revealed that the D day would be August 1.
