The victim of Sun tv Vs Kalaignar tv clash = Kuselan
Kalaignar tv has acquired the satellite rights of Kuselan for a whopping amount (I think it is 4.05 crores). It is said to have been sold Rs.5 lakhs more than Sivaji.
Sun Tv is said to have deeply disappointed by this deal as they already lost Sivaji to Kalaignar tv. Adding fuel to the fire, most prominent and first grade movies of leading stars are being purchased by Kalaignar tv with the help of Ramanarayananan, the president of TFPC (Tamil Film Producers Council).
Annoyed by latest deal of Kuselan by Kalaignar tv, Sun tv has turned its attention towards Kuselan and started publishing negative news about Kuselan in Dinakaran, Sun group’s newspaper. (Earlier it reported lots of scoop and good news about Sivaji and it carried wonderful review of Sivaji - but finally it reported the alleged loss of Sivaji in some areas as wallposter heading!!)
Back to Kuselan -
Initially it carried news that Nayantara, Meena and Pasupathy ignored the Kuselan audio launch purportedly. And recently as usual it lifted news from sify which said that Kuselan has been delayed for a week. Dinakaran carried this news as wall poster news stating Kuselan delayed and reasons behind for it.
Now today too in a news associated with Marmayogi, it has said in a sarcastic way that Big B turned down Rajini’s offer while he is considering Kamal’s for Marmoygi. The same Dinakaran and its eveninger Tamil Murasu has said many time in gossip columns and news columns last year that Big B has acted in Sivaji and his portion has been shot secretly. (I have print proof!)
When the audio is rocking the market and has created a thundering record next to Sivaji they don’t have time to cover that news. But have plenty of time and space for purported negative news. (I wonder why sify has not opened up on Kuselan’s audio record till now? If the same happens for any other actor’s movie, they would have covered that and kept that in homepage for more that one week)
Loss is not for readers or Rajinifans. Real loss is for those who ignore Rajini related news and trick themselves.
Note: Believe me, i prepared this news Wednesday morning and put in the pipeline. But today i saw a news in sify that Vishal's Sathyam audio is sold for record price. As i told, busy sify has no time to cover Kuselan audio record.
Kandasamy’s book on Superstar’s fame in abroad
We all know how much respect Superstar is keeping on his mentor KB. Even in Kuselan audio launch he opened up his heart and said that Ram Bai and Ranoji Rao were parents only for Sivaji Rao but for Rajinikanth it is only KB who is father, mother and mentor and all. Not only with KB but Rajini sir is keeping respect with his daughter Pushpa Kandasamy and her husband Kandasamy. They also have show deep passion and love towards Superstar and everybody knows that.

Now it is said that Kandasamy, the son-in-law of KB is writing a book on Superstar Rajinikanth. They say that he has explained in detail about Superstar’s fame across the globe in many countries. It will resemble an extensive article submitted for research. The book explores how an actor from South India was able to win hearts of people in the countries where Tamil or even English is not spoken. The book is expected to hit the market by year end.

Kathanayakudu audio too selling hot
We all know that Kuselan audio (Tamil) is a superhit and sold a record number of 2,00,000 CDs in 24 hrs. But do you know that Kathanayakudu audio too is a superhit?
The Telugu version too which was launched simultaneously along with Tamil has created ripples in Telugu audio industry and guess what the audio has turned a rage among youth there. One of my friends from Hyderabad reported that the audio is selling equal to that of any Chiru’s film or Mahesh Babu’s film.
Greatandhra.com says – //It is heard that the numbers from 'Kathanayakudu' have already caught fire with the music lovers and in a span of just few days, they have already made it as chartbusters. The music has been composed by G V Prakash Kumar and there is report that the film has sold a whopping one lakh CDs in just two day business. Way to go Rajini!!!//
Kuselan for Sivaji loss? Ha…ha…ha…
Just go back six months. When Kuselan was announced during the beginning of 2008, many websites, yellow magazines and papers wrote in meaningless gossip columns and straight columns that Kuselan was announced just to compensate ‘so called’ Sivaji loss.
Even you take as measure of compensation how Kavithalaya would compensate for an AVM production? The basic logic itself was missing. And some websites wrote that those who allegedly suffered loss in Sivaji would interfere in Robot’s business and to satisfy them only Kuselan was announced.
But what happened? Kuselan where Superstar appears in extended cameo was taken over by Pyramid Saimira for a whopping of Rs. 60+ crores. Now Pyramid Saimira is selling the movie in ‘Outright basis’ and ‘Minimum Guarantee’ (MG) to all theatres and there’s no talk of compensation or bullshit. The theatres who could afford the price are offered the screening opportunity of Kuselan.
So it is clearly evident that Sivaji loss is a story created just to evade tax by some faithless distributors who earned in crores.
Rajini’s advice on white food shows great impact on people
Superstar on explaining about his youthfulness in Kuselan audio advised people above 40 to stay away from white food materials.
This seems to have great impact on people above 40 yrs across the state.
Rajini has done what a physician and dietician couldn’t do with this people. Doctors used to advice people every now and often to avoid foods containing fat and carbohydrates (for sugar patients). But it had no impact. But when the same told by Superstar it shows great impact and started yielding better results. Physicians are wondering about the power of Superstar’s words. Particularly his fans have started avoiding white food including milk, curd and ghee.
Soon going to ex- Union minister Anbumani has been repeatedly requesting people on their health consciousness. But he could yield response barely. But Superstar’s words have triggered thoughts on food abouts among people which is a good sign.

Yesterday Daily Thanthi caught superstar on his way to Rishikesh and managed to get a small sound bite.
In that thalaivar has referred that it was sage in Himalayas who advised him several years ago to keep away from white food materials. When asked the sage for staying ever young – he was advised thus.
Superstar affirmed that for the past several years he is following the sage’s advice on food and so he is remaining youthful.

Release date July 31 or Aug 1?
Many of our fans are confused over the release date of Kuselan as a section of media including Indian Express has reported the D day would be July 31 – Thursday, one day prior to actual schedule.
While the banner at Abirami Mega Mall says it is August release, US distributors say that the film would be released in US in July 31.
Yesterday Express reported that the day would be July 31 as it falls on Thursday which is considered as auspicious day for Superstar.
Let’s see what express says :
---------------- CONTRARY to media reports about Kuselan being an August release, it is now confirmed that the Rajini, Nayantara-starrer will hit the screens on July 31, making it a Thursday release, unusual in the Kollywood scene but considered as lucky by Rajinikanth.
Confirming this, producer PT Vijaykumar of Seven Arts said, “We have agreed on a July 31 release. We would like to stick to the deadline of July that we had mentioned earlier.”
Producer Pushpa Kandaswamy of Kavithalayaa Films also added that they were eyeing on a Thursday release. “If the movie gets released on a Thursday, it gives us one more day to gauge the weekend collection. If it’s not July 31, then it will be August 1,” she said. Director K Balachandar had announced at a recent event that the movie would be an August release.
Kuselan features Pasupathy and Meena in the lead with Rajini doing an extended cameo, but it is believed that it is Rajini’s belief in Thursday as his lucky day that has affected the movie’s release date. Lucky or not, the announcement has brought in cheer for Rajini fans who were upset over Kuselan being said to be an August release.----------------
I too would be happy like many of you if the movie releases on July 31. Not because fear over August jinx. But an extra day would be available for us in weekend collections to thrash Dosa like chutney.
Finally it looks that Kuselan would hit the screens on July 31 Thursday - just to ensure one more day in weekend collections.

Nowadays news giving has become just a table work rather than field work for many websites and portals. For news related to Kollywood, except sify.com, rediff and one or two Tamil websites - no others take strain to prepare news but purely rely on other sources for news. They just copy, cook and paste news in their websites. I wonder how a website (which has been popularised by Rajini fans for telling Dosa collected more than Sivaji) is giving top 10 in box office without doing field work.
Similarly some websites today has reported a fake news that Superstar is not happy with August release and he has urged Kuselan team to release the movie one or two days before August - that is in July 30 or 31. According to me - there is no truth in above news of Superstar's interference in release date.
Many news like this are cooked just for sake to fill space.
