பத்திரிகை எரிப்பு - ரஜினி ரசிகர்கள் கொதிப்புவியாழக்கிழமை, ஆகஸ்ட் 7, 2008
சென்னை: நடிகர் ரஜினிகாந்த்துக்கு எதிராக கட்டுரை வெளியிட்ட இரண்டு வாரமிருமுறை இதழ்களை ரஜினி ரசிகர்கள் கொளுத்தி போராட்டம் நடத்தினர். மேலும் அந்த பத்திரிக்கைகளின் அலுவலகங்களுக்கு எதிராக ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்தவும் தீர்மானித்துள்ளனர்.
ஒகேனக்கல் குடிநீர் திட்டப் பிரச்சினையில் கன்னடர்களுக்கு எதிராக தான் பேசிய பேச்சுக்கு, குசேலன் வெளியீட்டின் போது விளக்கமளித்து வருத்தம் தெரிவித்திருந்தார் ரஜினி.
ஆனால் அவர் கன்னடர்களிடம் மன்னிப்புக் கேட்டுவிட்டார் என்று கூறி சில நடிகர்கள் கண்டனம் தெரிவித்தனர்.
இந்நிலையில், ஒரு வாரமிருமுறை பத்திரிகையில் ரஜினியை விமர்சித்து எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளதாகக் கூறி அவற்றின் பிரதிகளை ரசிகர்கள் கொளுத்திப் போராட்டம் நடத்தியுள்ளனர். மேலும் இரண்டு வாரப் பத்திரிகைகளின் இதழ்களையும் இவ்வாறு கொளுத்தி தங்கள் எதிர்ப்பைத் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
காஞ்சிபுரம், சேலம் மற்றும் கோவை நகரங்களில் இந்தப் போராட்டங்கள் நடந்துள்ளன. மேலும், குறிப்பிட்ட பத்திரிகை அலுவலகங்கள் முன்பாக ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்தவும் ரசிகர்கள் முடிவெடுத்துள்ளனர்.
இதுகுறித்து சென்னை சிந்தாதிரிப்பேட்டையைச் ரஜினி ரசிகரான இம்மானுவேல் கூறியதாவது:
பத்திரிகைகளில் எவ்வளவோ விஷயங்களை எங்களுக்கெதிராக எழுதுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் தலைவர் அமைதியாக இருந்து குடும்பத்தைக் கவனிக்கச் சொல்வதால் நாங்கள் அவற்றைக் கண்டு கொள்வதில்லை. ஆனால் இனியும் பொறுக்க முடியாது. தலைவர் சொன்னாலும்கூட கேட்கப் போவதில்லை. கண்டிப்பாக பெரிய ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்தியே தீருவோம் என்றார்.
மேலும் மாவட்ட வாரியாக இத்தகைய ஆர்ப்பாட்டங்களை நடத்தவும், ரஜினி ரசிகர் மன்றங்கள் முடிவு செய்திருப்பதாகத் தெரிகிறது.
இதுகுறித்து ரஜினி ரசிகர் மன்றப் பொறுப்பாளர் சத்தியநாராயணாவிடம் கேட்டபோது, ரஜினி சார் இந்த மாதிரி ஆர்ப்பாட்டங்களை எப்போதும் விரும்பமாட்டார். எந்தப் பிரச்சினையிலும் தன் ரசிகர்களை முன்நிறுத்தமாட்டார். இந்தப் பிரச்சினை அவருக்கு ஒரு பொருட்டே அல்ல. எனவே ரசிகர்கள் அமைதியாக இருக்க வேண்டும். அமைதியாக இருப்பார்கள் என்று நம்புவோம். குசேலன் வெற்றியை அனுபவிப்போம் என்றார்.

Fans agitate against popular bi-weekly for their malicious propaganda on Rajini

Chennai: Rajini fans have shown their protest against the two bi-weekly magazines that had published articles against actor Rajinikanth by burning their copies. They have also decided to hold a demonstration in front of their offices.
During the release of his film Kuselan, Rajini had clarified and expressed regret for his speech during the Hogenakkal drinking water project issue.
But, few actors condemned Rajini saying that he had asked for apology with the Kannadigas.
In this scenario, Rajini fans showed their protest against a bi-weekly magazine for publishing an article which unfairly criticised Rajinikanth. Further they also similarly burned copies of two weekly magazines to show protest.
These protests were also held in Kanchipuram, Selam and Coimbatore cities. Further, the fans have decided to hold demonstrations in front of the offices of these magazines.
Speaking about this Emmanuel, a Rajini fan from Sinthathiripettai in Chennai, said -
"Many things are written against us in magazines. But, on Thalaivar's advice to stay calm and look after our families we ignore those articles. But, we can not tolerate further. Even if Thalaivar advices us to stay calm we will not listen to him. We will surely hold a big demonstration."
It has been heard that Rajini fans have decided to hold similar demonstrations across all districts.
On enquiring about this with Rajini Fan Club President Satyanarayana he said, "Rajini Sir never approves this sort of agitations. For whatever problems he will never bring his fans to the fore-front. This issue is not at all a problem for him. Hence, I request the fans to be calm. I believe that they will stay calm and enjoy the success of Kuselan."
