An additional screen just to make quick cash on first day

Friends, some of you mailed me and called me and asked me about Kuselan's run in Nanganallur Vetrivel complex.

Nothing but mutual agreement

Kuselan has been bought by Chromepet Raakesh and Nanganallur Velan complex in that belt (each one reel box).

Raakesh has bought the film in the condition that the film shouldn't be screened in both theatres of Velan as it would affect their collection. (Theatres while buying the film at high cost, used to lay conditions like this to ensure enough audiences for their theatre.)

An additional screen just to make quick cash

Velan agreed to it but it requested the distributor that only on the first day it would screen the movie in both of its theatres (Velan, Vetrivelan) just to make some quick cash based on first day rush. Raakesh agreed to it - that is - one day the film can be screened in both theatres of Velan complex.

Previously Dasa was running in Vetrivelan and on 49th day it was removed and Kuselan was screened on 1st August in both theatres (with single reel box). As per agreement the film was removed on the next day from Velan (550 seats approximately) and now continuing its run in Vetrivel (900 plus seats). Now an English film has been screened in Velan.

Opposite camps seems to be spreading false news on this. I request you not to believe rumours on such internal adjustments among theatres. For Sivaji too this happened.

Internal adjustments

Even now, many theatres have screened Kuselan as doubles or triples - two or more theatres in the same city or complex by the same person. It is just to make some quick bucks. Once Vishal's Sathyam releases these theatres will be reduced and then only Kuselan will have compact list of theatres. Now those who have screened the movie in their theatre, have leased nearby theatre in their location or town, and screened Kuselan there to in additional to original. These EXTRA theatres will be removed on the stipulated dates as per the agreement they have put with other theatres and distributor.

Those who have watched one time (in mental stress about the result) and told me that "Worth watch one time" are now feeling to watch it some more times.

My reports on Kuselan would start from next week. This film is not a Sivaji or Chandramukhi. You should keep in mind that. And also Superstar appears in an extended cameo role only. It will take some time, for family audiences to gel with the film.

Till then, don't get disturbed by any box office articles or news cooked by crap sites or even from your friends.

Note: Till now the Dasa ads are showing Nanganallur - Vetrivel. But our Kuselan is running there. Don't say printing mistake. I agree even for Sivaji and Chandramukhi it happened. But it was rectified on subsequent days.
