Superstar nowadays likes to wear white shirt and dhotis for wedding muhurats. (For reception, he used to wear formals). For the family marriages of those who are very close to him in industry or personal front he used to attend with his consort Latha Rajini. He attended Vairamuthu’s son's marriage, which was held few days before with his wife.
Prominent personalities from cinema and politics attended the event. Herewith I have tried to present the event with some distinct pictures which you may not have seen probably.
And I have written the following, based on a person’s report who attended the event.
“I had no title for Rajini” – Chief Minister Kalaignar
Kalaignar who spoke at the wedding ceremony said that those who present there have titles which have been christened by him alone. Kalaignani Kamal, Kaviperasu Vairamuthu etc. But only Superstar Rajini has the title which has not been christened by him. (Superstar)
Even myself and Mrs.Rajinikanth have difference of opinion - Rajini
Superstar spoke with his usual touch at the event. “If any one tells you that no difference of opinion crops up between husband and wife, don’t believe that. It is very common that husband and wife differs in many issues. Who ever it may be. Why even including myself and Mrs.Rajinikanth. If somebody say that they have no such issues, don’t believe them. They are cheating you and themselves too.
Is there any solution for it? Yes. We have solution. It is called concession and compromise. If couples abide by this and live, their life would be ever peaceful and fruitful.
It is very easy to earn name, fame and wealth but not friends. My thought about Vairamuthu has now changed completely. I could see that he has earned so much friends. I am very much happy for that.
Finally Vairamuthu came to speak. He thanked all those who turned up for to the event. During his speech he recollected his experiences and anecdotes with the participants.
Rajini can capture the power even in
While referring Superstar he said, “Only because of Rajini, my fame spread to all centres including A B and C. It is after writing for his films I became more famous in semi-urban and rural areas of Tamil Nadu and I thank him for that. I am astonished to see the immense popularity of Supestar Rajini which he enjoys in many countries across the globe. I don’t know whether he would step into the Tamil Nadu politics as many expect. It should be noted that Vairamuthu has spoken in the event where Chief Minister and other cabinet ministers were present.
Some observations:
1) Many politicians and ministers took care to greet and wish Superstar and shook their hands with him.
2) Vairamuthu himself rushed to the entrance to receive Superstar.
3) As usual needless to explain, the moment Superstar entered the marriage hall, the hall turned vibrant and live.
4) It was a good scene to see Superstar in white shirt and dhoti with his spouse Latha.
5) Both Superstar and Latha were given seats at first row.
6) Latha Rajini was seated along with Durga Stalin and Dhayalu Ammal.
7) Rajini was honoured by Vairamuthu with a shawl and a copy of his book which was released at the event by CM.
8) For the first time, Superstar was present for couple of hours in a marriage function. He was there at the venue nearly for two and half hours. He had never been in marriage function for this much time.
