Superstar's speech in the fast and his support to Tamil Nadu over the issue - huge protest have burst out against him in Karnataka today, his homeland.During the historic speech, Superstar lashed out all those politicians in Karnataka who are politicising this issue for the sake of elections.
As a result, Kannada activists have burnt his effigy and Karnataka film chamber of commerce has banned screening of all Rajini films with immediate effect.
