Rajini on dealing with friends & foes – An interview from crucial time in past!!

This is one of the most important press interviews of Superstar. Because we got this interview in a crucial time i.e after the victory of PMK in 2004 Parliament elections in all six constituencies.

Fans were very eager that time to know what’s the reaction of Superstar regarding the defeat and election results. And also there’s lots of confusions prevailed amidst fans regarding Jaggubhai because of stoic silence over the project ever since the paper ad was given.

Kumudam team at that time met Superstar at his residence and obtained a wonderful interview from the legend. Some…or….many of you would have read it that time. But you might have forgotten. Any way just a recollection from past.

You should keep in mind that Chandramukhi was not planned that time. Still Jaggubhai was in discussion stage. In one question, Superstar answers that, “Who knows what would happen for next 2 years!!” – How right the answer is!!!!

In this interview, Superstar didn’t beat around the bush and he answered swiftly and straightly each and every questions.

He has answered almost all questions that were in the mind of people and fans that time. Many of his answers apply to current situation and political scenario too.

Superstar gave nod for this interview to Kumdam as he keeps huge respect with the Kumudam group. (He even gave another interview to Kumudam post-Chandramukhi to its editor Jawahar Pazhaniappan!)

When many magazines tried to know what’s Superstar’s opinion regarding certain hot issues, he chose Kumudam to answer the issues. But Kumudam, later and over the years failed to maintain the respect that Superstar kept with them and turned as a cheap magazine which fills pages just for a furore.

Nandri Ketta Ulagamada…!!!

Note1: I have presented the half of the interview herewith. Tomorrow or day after tomorrow you would get the balance pages. I am yet to scan them. Kindly excuse me.

Note2: If somebody could provide the translation of this interview for the benefit of those who can’t read Tamil, I would be really grateful.
