During the shoot, thalaivar threw no tantrums or vetti bandha or getting late and delaying schedules. Tamil Cinema’s most co-operative and producer friendly hero once again proved why he is remaining as Superstar for more than three decades.
Whole town around the shooting spot
There were no much strict arrangements as fans were allowed inside the shooting spot. Why even they were provided lunch by the unit.
The news about the first day shoot with Superstar spread like wild-fire, and the next day there were heavy crowd thronging to that place. Our fans who were at the spot said that the whole Udumalaipet was around the shooting spot.
In Pollachi and Udumalaipet town, the local fans stuck posters welcoming thalaivar to their district.
“This is my official trip. Nothing personal”
Local fans met Superstar at the shooting spot and had a casual chat with him. Some fell at his feet to seek blessings which he felt very uneasy and requested no to do so. “No…no…no….don’t do this” – Superstar held back those who tried to fell at his feet. Fans also requested him for a photo session there. Superstar answered them politely: “This is not my personal visit. I have come here as a company artiste in an official trip. So, it is not fair to use this time for my personal things. I will call you all some other day to Raghavendra Mandapam and there I will give you a photo session. Ok?” (Nobody would object if he okays photo session. But he is very particular that he should not use that time for personal accomplishments. (You may ask: Didn’t he ever give pose to photographs with fans in shooting spots? Yes. He had many time. But it will be before the shooting or after the shooting or during the lunch break. And That is - when the time is over. And that too for a few fans alone. But here the case is different. There were 100s of fans asking for photo session with him at the spot. And thousands were already waiting outside the venue….)
Back to Kuselan shooting spot: At the same time he didn’t fail to take photographs with side artistes of Telugu filmdom. Jegapathy Babu introduced some Telugu techinicians and side actors to Superstar and he posed phorographs with them. You should keep in mind that taking photographs with technicians involved in the film will come under official. But taking photographs with fans will be under personal. Hope you able to understand the difference between the two.

Downplayed Kuselan news
As usual, a section of media downplayed the Kuselan shooting news. (Dear Sharath, you are right. You raised doubts that whether vaitherichal media would cover these.) Why Dinamalar even didn’t say a single word about this shooting which generated thunderous response and euphoria among people. Nowadays Dinamalar has become more biased towards another actor turned politician and busy promoting him as next CM.
Even last night airport news too has been blacked out by these papers because of some fear. Leave others. Dinamalar would always show interest in such ‘Airport Happenings’ and it used to cover such interesting events. What the hell happened to its crap reporters who look after airport? Where do they have gone that time in the airport? Or don’t they have any reporters for Pollachi and Udumalaipet in
