பத்திரிகை சுதந்திரமும் கசாப்பு கடையும்...

குசேலன் படம் மாபெரும் வெற்றியை பெற்றிருக்கும் இந்த தருணத்தில், அந்த வெற்றியை நாம் அனுபவிக்க இயலாமல் ஏதோ ஒரு விதமான சோகத்தில் ஆழ்ந்திருக்கிறோம். சொல்ல வார்த்தைகளற்ற ஒரு ஊமையின் சோகம் அது.

படம் குறித்து செய்திகள் சேகரிக்கவும், புகைப்படங்கள் எடுக்கவும் ரிலீசுக்கு முந்தைய நாள் மாலை நான் அரங்குகளுக்கு விசிட் அடிக்க சென்று கொண்டிருந்தேன். இடி போல் வந்து இறங்கியது அந்த செய்தி. "தலைவர் கன்னட மக்களிடம் மன்னிப்பு கேட்டுவிட்டதாக சேனல்களில் செய்தி ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது"

அந்த ஒரு கணம்

ஒரு நிமிடம் என் இதயமே நின்று விட்டது போன்ற உணர்வு. (தனது சொந்த நாட்டில் உள்ள ஒரு மாநில மக்களிடம் மன்னிப்பு கேட்டதாக கூறப்படுவதால் அல்ல. அதற்க்கு இந்த காட்டுமிரான்டிகள் கூட்டத்தில் எழப்போகும் எதிர்ப்பை நினைத்து.)

இருப்பினும் தலைவன் மேல் உள்ள நம்பிக்கையில் என்ன நடந்திருக்கும் என்று தெரியாமல், ஆராயாமல் நாம் எந்த வித முடிவுக்கும் வரவேண்டாம் என்று கருதி பயணத்தை தொடர்ந்தேன். இருப்பினும் கவரேஜ் செய்யும் மனநிலை எனக்கு தொலைந்து போயிருந்தது. கவரேஜ் பயணத்தை ரத்து செய்து விட்டு ஓரிடத்தில் போய் உட்கார்ந்தேன். அதற்குள் எனக்கு ஏகப்பட்ட அழைப்புகள் வரத் துவங்கின. யாரிடமும் பேசும் சக்தி எனக்கிருக்கவில்லை.

இருப்பினும் முன்னேற்றங்களையும் நிகழ்வுகளையும் நண்பர்கள் வாயிலாக கேட்டுகொண்டிருந்தேன். என்ன நடந்திருக்கும், எவ்வாறு மீடியா விளையாடியிருக்கும் என்று புரிந்தது. பதிவில் காத்திருப்பவர்களுக்கு என்ன சொல்வது என்று ஹோம் வொர்க் செய்துகொண்டேன்.

பிறகு நடந்தது உங்களுக்கு தெரியும்.

அடப்பாவிகளா...

இதனிடையே ஏதோ ஒருவித ஈர்ப்பால் படத்தை மூன்று முறை பார்த்துவிட்டேன். இன்று (ஞாயிறு ) காலை பேப்பர் வாங்க கடைக்கு சென்றால், அங்கிருக்கும் நாளிதழ்களின் போஸ்டரை பார்த்து மனம் பதறியது.

பத்திரிகை சுதந்திரம் என்ற பெயரில் கசாப்பு கடை அல்லவா நடக்குது இங்கே...இவர்களை தட்டி கேட்க யார் உண்டு?

அடப்பாவிகளா ... ரஜினியின் உப்பை தின்று வளர்ந்து இன்று அவரையே கூறு போடுகிறீர்களே? உங்களுக்கு மன்னிப்பு உண்டா? உங்களுக்கு 'நக்கீரன்' என்ற அந்த புனிதனின் பெயர் எதற்கு?

வெகுமதி...?

மிகவும் வலித்தது...ரஜினியின் ரசிகனாக இருப்பதற்கு கிடைக்கும் வெகுமதி?

இது போததென்று வலைத்தளங்களிலும் இணைய பக்கங்களிலும் ரஜினியை கடித்து குதறி கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். நிறைய வலைத்தளங்களின் வக்கிர புத்தி இப்போது வெளிச்சத்திற்கு வந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறது.

எதிர்ப்பாளர்களை விடுங்கள்...அவர்கள் எந்த காலத்திலும் ரஜினியை ஏற்று கொள்ளபோவது இல்லை. ஆனால் அப்பாவி பொதுமக்கள்? அவர்கள் மனதில் என்னவெல்லாம் தோன்றும்? நினைக்கவே வலித்தது...நமக்கெல்லாம் ரஜினியின் பேச்சை ஆராயவும், அதில் தவறு எதுவும் இல்லை தலைவனின் பெருந்தன்மை மட்டுமே இருக்கிறது என்று புரிந்துகொள்ளவும் வாய்ப்பு இருக்கிறது. தெரியும். ஆனால் மக்களுக்கு? அவர்களுக்கு அன்றாடவாழ்க்கையுடன் போராடுவதே பெரும்பாடு. போகிற போக்கில் கடைகளில் தொங்குகின்ற போஸ்டர்களை மட்டுமே பார்த்து நாட்டு நடப்பை தெரிந்து கொள்வோர் ஏராளம். அவர்களுக்கெல்லாம் மேற்கொண்ட விளக்கத்தை புரிந்துகொள்ள நேரம் எது?

உண்ணா விரதங்களிலும் பல்வேறு காலகட்டங்களிலும் அவர் ஈட்டிய தமிழ் ஆதரவு பெயர் ஒரே நொடியில் விதியின் விளையாட்டால் தரை மட்டமாகிவிட்டது.

இதுவரை வந்த சோதனைகளில் தனது தமிழ் பற்றை நிரூபிக்க அவருக்கு வேறு வழிகள் இருந்தன. ஆனால் இனி? கண்ணை விற்று அல்ல தன்னையே விற்றல்லவா சித்திரம் வாங்கியிருக்கிறான் தலைவன் (அமைதியின் பொருட்டு). எதை கொடுத்து மீட்பது?

இறைவா, இது தலைவனுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட சோதனை அல்ல....உனக்கு நாங்கள் வைக்கும் சோதனை...நீ இருப்பது உண்மையானால் தலைவன் குற்றமற்றவன் , அவன் ஒரு மாசறு மாணிக்கம் என்று இந்த உலகம் நிரந்தரமாக நம்ப வேண்டும். பழி நீங்க வேண்டும்...இந்த கணத்திலும் இரக்கமற்று நடந்துகொண்ட துரோகிகளும் புல்லுருவிகளும் தக்க பாடம் பெற வேண்டும்.

எனது மன பாரத்தை இறக்கி வைத்துவிட்டேன் - பணிகளில் கவனம் செலுத்தும் பொருட்டு. இதற்க்கு மேல் என்னால் எழுத முடியவில்லை...மன்னிக்கவும்....

Something is pulling me to theatre repeatedly to watch the movie

Friends, this is a unique situation for me. Though i have been watching first day first show (FDFS) of thalaivar's movies for past several years, i rarely watch the subsequent shows immediately on the first day itself or next day. I would wait for a few days and then only watch additional times.

But for Kuselan, i don't know what happened to me....I watched the movie 3 times in two days.

We all know that this movie nowhere could come close to Sivaji in hypewise or contentwise. Then how it is happening? Really a mystery.

I could only tell that it is a miracle.

Ok...what's my opinion the movie?

I liked...

1) Vadivelu's tryst to take a snap with thalaivar.

2) Livingston's comedy and Santhanabharathy's body language.

3) Sundarrajan's spontaneous shots at thalaivar.

4) Chellama song

5) Cinema cinema song and intro.

6) Annamalai sequence where thalaivar speaks about industrialisation at cost of agricultural lands.

7) REAL Climax where Bahadur is shown along with Pasupathy. (What an idea....wow)

Might have forgotten some other points too....(vara vara gynyabaga maradhi romba adhigamaayittu varudhu...)

Final verdict:
It is a jolly time pass. Go without any expectation and surely you would come out with great satisfaction.

Hurray...media gives thumbs up for Kuselan!! A compilation of all reviews!!!

Friends, for Sivaji, 8 out 10 media reviews came very favourable. The same thing happens to Kuselan too. Except a few ‘average’ reviews here and there, most of the reviews give ‘thumbs up’ for Kuselan. What else you want...? I have given both Tamil and Telugu reviews too.
This is more than enough for our film.
Already cash registers started ringing at the box office. Cheer up. Nothing can happen to our Boss.
Am gonna watch the film for third time today….
Note: Superstar is gonna to meet press people this noon. Not for controversial issue. But to honour Kuselan techinicians.

வியாபாரத்திற்காக அவர் இப்படி செய்து விட்டார் என்று கூறாதீர்கள்....அவரை பொறத்தவரை இந்த பணம் ஒரு பொருட்டே அல்ல...அது உங்களுக்கும் தெரியும்தானே?

ஹைதராபாதில் 'கதாநாயகுடு' படத்தின் விசேஷ காட்சிக்கு சென்ற ரஜினி, அதற்க்கு முன் ஒரு கன்னட தொலைக்காட்சிக்கு அளித்த பேட்டி தான் இவ்வளவு சர்ச்சைக்கும் காரணம்.

நானும் அந்த பேட்டியை பார்த்தேன். வெட்கப்பட வேண்டிய அளவிற்கோ அல்லது நாம் வருத்தப்படவேண்டிய அளவிற்கோ சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் எதையும் பேசவில்லை. தன்னை பற்றி, தான் பிறந்த மாநிலத்தில் பிரச்சாரம் செய்யப்படும் துவேஷ கருத்துகளுக்கு பதில் கூறியுள்ளார். அவ்வளவே.

அவருடைய அந்த பேட்டியை பார்ப்பவர்கள் யாரும் அவர் உள்மனதை எளிதில் புரிந்து கொள்வார்கள். தான் கன்னடம் உட்பட எந்த மொழிக்கும், மாநிலத்திற்கும் எதிரியல்ல. எல்லாருக்கும் பொதுவானவன் என்று மட்டுமே அவர் நிரூபிக்க முனைந்துள்ளார். தன் பேச்சு பொது மக்களை புண்படுத்தியிருந்தால் அதற்க்கு வருத்தபடுவதாக கூறியுள்ளார். இது தவறா?

இந்த முயற்சியில் அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட கடந்த கால தோல்விகளே இதற்கும் பதில். அவர்களை பொறுத்தவரை ரஜினியின் 'முடிவு' என்பது தான் அவருக்கு 'ஆரம்பம்' ஆகிவிடுகிறது. ஒவ்வொரு முறையும்...!! ஹா....ஹா....ஹா...

இந்த சோதனையையும் ரஜினி வெல்வாரா?

இறைவன் ஒருவனுக்கு துணை நின்றால், இந்த உலகமே எதிர்த்தாலும் அவனை ஒன்றும் செய்ய முடியாது.....எந்த சோதனையிலும் அவன் வெல்வான்....புடம் போட்ட தங்கமாக வெளிவருவான்...

And in Mayajaal too they reported that all the tickets for the for the 40 shows sold out completely except a few seats for midnight 12.00 am shows.are available (as per last evening.)

Rajni gets ready to shoot Robot

SUPERSTAR Rajnikant is likely to leave for the US shortly to join the US-based production team of his Rs 1.5 billion venture Robot. This will be a sci-fi movie and stars Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai in the female lead.

She has already reported for the photo-shoot schedule. It is being directed by Shankar whose last offering with Rajnikant Sivaji - The Boss broke all box-office records.

The movie will be simultaneously produced in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and two other Indian languages besides being later dubbed into Eng lish, Japanese and Malay. After Rajnikant agrees to the final script, shooting will commence from August 15.

The extravaganza is being jointly produced by Londonbased Ayngaran International and Eros Entertainment, said a press statement.

While Rajnikant’s Kuselan is scheduled for July 31 release, he has almost completed his daughter Saundarya’s Ocher Studios’ Rs 2 billion animated production SultanThe Warrior, which has live shots of the superstar

Superstar handles Karnataka menace diplomatically through a simple letter

Friends, finally the all the obstacles of Kuselan in Karnataka has been cleared. Powerful Karanataka Film Chamber of Commerce has put a big full stop to the issue.

Actually i was worried about the hindrances earlier and was noticing the developments eagerly like all you.

But Superstar without asking apology has sorted out the issue through a simple letter. This is what "Raja Thanthiram."

Present day politics needs Superstar very much.

We could understand how Karnataka state Rajini fans were anticipating Kuselan with bated breath and a untolerable suspense over the release. So, i was praying a smooth settlement over the issue without any damage to Superstar's name.

One side fans - other side producers and distributors of Kuselan, who couldn't bear the loss crores - other side Superstar who is a demigod to his fans - other side detractors who are watching Rajini's steps carefully to trip him. Just we couldn't even imagine this. But Superstar swiftly handled the issue. Super thalaivaa. I thank KFCC and its Office Bearers who helped in Kuselan's Karnataka release.

Note: In the letter to KFCC, Superstar has not asked apology anywhere. Just a letter which was carefully written to ensure a smooth sailing of Kuselan. Below is the article regarding Superstar's letter to KFCC.

Rajnikanth urges trouble-free ‘Kuselan’ release in Karnataka

Bangalore, July 29 (IANS)

Tamil superstar Rajnikanth has written to the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) to ensure that his forthcoming film “Kuselan’ is released in the state without any problems since many groups were against it, alleging that he had made “anti-Kannadiga” statements. Though KFCC president and actress Jayamala has already given the nod for the movie’s simultaneous release in Karnataka Aug 1, Rajnikanth apparently doesn’t want to take any chances.

Some Kannada organisations had been demanding that “Kuselan” be released in the state only after a seven-week moratorium as Rajnikanth had hurt the sentiments of Kannadigas by supporting Tamil Nadu on a row over a drinking water project in Hogenekkal, on the border between the two states.

The superstar had joined the Tamil film industry in a daylong protest fast in April against Karnataka’s objections to the Rs.13.3 billion Hogenekkal project that is expected to benefit about three million people in two Tamil Nadu districts.

Karnataka is opposed to the project, saying its share of the Cauvery river waters will be affected.

During the protest, Rajnikanth had apparently blamed Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa for the problem, angering many Kannada activists.

The actor, in his letter to Jayamala Monday, which he has written in Kannada, stressed that he had never intended to hurt the feelings of Kannadigas by speaking at the rally.

He wrote: “I came to know that there was some bitterness among a section of Kannada people about my speech on the Hogenakkal issue. I want to say that I’m not a person to hurt feelings of other people and I’m not a person to create any difficulties for others… I have not believed in hurting others.”

Rajnikanth added that he did not want his fans in Karnataka to miss out on his film.

“I don’t want people to have any difficulty in seeing my film in Karnataka. I would appeal to you to co-operate to facilitate the release of the film in the state,” he said in the letter.

Jayamala released the actor’s letter at a press conference here.

She said: “The executive committee of the KFCC has already agreed to allow the release of the film with lesser number of prints and lesser number of theatres.”

The KFCC president had earlier also urged people to not link the Hogenakkal issue to the release of “Kuselan”, specially since producer K. Balachander was a respected film personality who had contributed to Kannada cinema as well.

Kuselan: Intro scene is just enough to watch the film repeatedly

Friends, inside sources say that P Vasu has taken tremendous efforts in Superstar's intro scene and climax.

The intro-scene is just like that you have never seen in Superstar's films and not going to see in future too. Really this kind of intro is what we expected from Shankar in Sivaji. But he disappointed us. But it is now a tough task for Shankar for Robot's intro scene.

This scene is just enough for the fans to go and watch the film umpteen times. The attached still is somewhat associated with the intro scene. Rest in silver screen.

Not exaggeration. Just tell me after you watch the film.

Does any of the so called CRAP SITES ever reported such a news to you? From the inception to till now....they are copying, copying and copying. They know nothing but Copy, Cook and Paste. (don't take in offensive mode. Just to convey you that, how was i irritated about a movie's false collection and box office article in that site). Even if they write 'good' about Kuselan, it won't fascinate me and i won't refer it here. A 'liar' is 'liar' to all.

I RARELY, note very very rarely, visit those crap sites. That time too i get irritated because of these protruding water marks in the images.
